DashJam records your rehearsal continuously and lets you save the last few minutes — after something good happens. No more “wait, were we even recording?”

How it works

• Start session — DashJam starts listening right away.
• Keep playing. The app holds the most recent 15 minutes in a rolling buffer.
• When something good happens: Save Jam — drag the handles on the live waveform to keep exactly the stretch you want.
• Saved jams land in your Library and as .m4a files in the Files app.

Privacy-first

Audio never leaves your device — no servers, no accounts, no tracking. You decide whether and when to share a recording.

Roadmap

A DashJam Pro version is planned — releasing later this year. It unlocks features that are currently disabled in the free build:

• Longer rolling buffers (beyond 15 minutes)
• Automatic jam detection with one-tap save
• Multi-select in the Library (share or delete in batches)
• Location-based automations (auto-start sessions at saved places)
• Audio quality selection and mono recording

The free build stays fully functional — Pro will arrive as an update to the same app, not a separate one.
